THE HEART.... ... 

The bible says to "Guard your heart above else" (Proverbs 4:23) Why? For "it is the wellspring of life!"
Wherever your heart goes your world will follow. It is so important that we guard our heart not just for the leaders following us, but for our own lives.
Proverbs 27:19 says "A man’s heart reveals the man!" What your heart falls for so will you become!
ABOVE ALL guard your heart – God wants your heart, if your heart desires anything other than Jesus get rid of it! Lets learn to be leaders that can let things go – especially anything that is becoming higher priority than God.

Let’s have a heart after God like David did:
Psalm 27:8 "When you said ‘seek my face’ my HEART said to you ‘Your face i will seek". David didn’t just obey God because he asked him to seek him, but it was in his HEART to seek the face of God, he already had Jesus in his heart not anything else! David knew how to guard his heart and keep God the centre of it.

Let our reaction to serving, to seeking God, to discipling, to picking up young people, to reading our word be – My heart says!!

Check your heart daily, guard it with everything you have so that nothing may take God’s place!
